Plaid's Gallery Glass paints let you create gorgeous stained-glass-style art right on your windows — and when you're ready for a change, it peels right off. No damage, no landlord drama, just beautiful color and light. Here's how to make your own!

## Supplies

- Plaid Gallery Glass paints (assorted colors)
- A window, mirror, or glass panel
- Gallery Glass leading strips or liquid leading (optional, for the stained-glass outline look)
- A printed pattern or coloring page to trace
- Rubbing alcohol and paper towels
- Painter's tape

## Instructions

### Step 1: Clean your glass
Wipe down your window or glass surface with rubbing alcohol and paper towels. Any dust or fingerprints will show through the paint, so get it nice and clean, then let it dry completely.

### Step 2: Tape your pattern in place
Print your design and tape it to the back side of the glass (or hold it behind the window). This gives you a guide to trace — flowers, sun catchers, holiday designs, and geometric patterns all work beautifully.

### Step 3: Add the leading (optional)
If you want that classic stained-glass look, lay down leading strips or pipe liquid leading along the outlines of your design first. Let it dry completely before moving on — this creates the little "walls" that keep your colors from running together.

### Step 4: Fill in with Gallery Glass
Working one section at a time, squeeze Gallery Glass paint into each outlined area. Use a generous amount — you want it thick enough to look rich and glassy. You can swirl colors together with a toothpick for a marbled effect, or keep them separate for a bold stained-glass look.

### Step 5: Pop the bubbles and let it dry
Gently pop any air bubbles with a toothpick. Then walk away and let it dry for at least 24 hours. The paint goes on milky but dries to a beautiful translucent finish — trust the process!

### Step 6: Step back and enjoy the light
Peel off your pattern, clean up any tape, and let the sunshine do the rest. Your window art will glow like real stained glass.
