Piggy Sublimation Earrings

Okay, are these not the CUTEST things you've ever seen?! I made the sweetest little piggy earrings with sublimation, and I am obsessed. The print is so vivid and detailed — way more than I could ever cut by hand — and they're lightweight and easy to wear. Supplies

sublimation printer + ink, sublimation paper,sublimation earring blanks (MDF or aluminum, double-sided), heat press, heat-resistant tape, earring hooks, jump rings, jewelry pliers, butcher paper or Teflon sheet.

Steps

1. Pick your piggy design, sized 1–1.5 inches (make sure you have rights to use it).
2. Print **mirrored** on sublimation paper; let it dry a minute.
3. Tape the blank face-down on the print with heat-resistant tape, sandwich in butcher paper, and press per your blank manufacturer's time and temp.
4. Cool with heat-safe gloves, peel the paper, repeat on the back for double-sided blanks.
5. Twist open a jump ring, slide it through the hole, twist closed.
6. Add the fishhook earring hook the same way, tug to check.
7. Wear them and collect compliments!

**Tips:** blanks must be polyester-coated and light-colored; always mirror the print; don't let the paper shift mid-press (ghosting); feather-light and comfy; make a whole barnyard; great gifts on a cute earring card.
